ReFi is distinguished as the United Kingdom’s pioneering and genuine debt consolidation application. This innovative platform empowers consumers to streamline their financial obligations by facilitating the simultaneous settlement of multiple debts through a unified and comprehensive transaction.

By providing a seamless and efficient debt consolidation experience, ReFi aims to enhance financial management for users, fostering a more organised and sustainable approach to debt repayment.

Colour palette

The brief.

The brief emphasized the theme of “journey, journey, journey.” The objective was to create an application capable of integrating seamlessly into the websites and apps of major high street banks via an iFrame. The user experience was designed to be as slick and friction-free as possible. Essential to achieving this was the use of APIs to access debts and other financial integrations, ensuring minimal effort required on the part of the user.

The approach.

The development approach presented significant challenges, primarily due to the scarcity of data, as this was the first application of its kind in the UK. Fortunately, we were able to leverage the abundant financial data available online, which we intelligently tailored to suit our specific audience and industry insights.

Feedback was systematically gathered through demo sessions with potential clients, during which we presented the prototype. The number of iterations made was considerable, particularly given the relatively limited scope of the user journey. This iterative process was crucial in refining the application to better meet user needs and expectations.

The finished product.

The final product has been very well-received by both clients and customers. The data we have gathered, along with user recordings, clearly indicate that we successfully delivered a frictionless journey, as outlined in the brief. Although I am unable to share specific figures at this time, I can confirm that completion rates are exceptionally high, and the time taken to complete the process is remarkably quick.

Currently, my focus has shifted toward further optimizing the product. We are carefully analyzing the data and conducting A/B tests to enhance user experience and ensure continued success.
